They don’t play by the rules but always say they do
Come up on us and talk to us like we don’t have a clue
This is one way of paying dues by refusing to cooperate
Then they come with deals and promises for a name and face
If that don’t work they claim to add more time and fines
Talk about classes of offenses to add stress to the mind
Stack all the charges up and that’s leverage they try to use
With that being shown, they’re not concerned with the truth
All they want are the cues to keep interrogating on the spot
They know they got you then and there trying to prepare you to talk
Offering to let you off if you just drop a simple name in their lap
Adding to the stress they throw handcuffs on and put you in the back
Trying to chit chat about what you got to lose when you won’t budge
They don’t like snitches in their ranks and wonder why we carry a grudge
Their deals we don’t touch, but from others we just don’t know
Some are too scared to see the public eye if they’re all on their own
