INDIAN SUMMER FESTIVAL IS NOW ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR THE FIFTH ANNUAL INDIAN SUMMER MUSIC AWARD (ISMA).  ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30TH 2008!

MILWAUKEE: The Fifth Annual Indian Summer Music Awards (ISMA) deadline for this year’s music award entries must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2008 and received no later than May 14, 2008.

The goal of ISMA is to honor the best American Indian music that has been commercially released between March 2, 2007 and March 1, 2008.

The 2008 ISMA categories are:

• Alternative Rock
  
• Blues
  
• Classic Rock
  
• Contemporary Instrumental
  
• Country
  
• Flute
  
• Folk
  
• Hip Hop
  
• Native Spirit (non-Native American)
  
• Pop
  
• Spiritual
  
• Traditional Drum
  
• Traditional Vocal
  

The ISMA Award show will occur on Saturday, September 6th at the Indian Summer Festival that runs September 5-7, 2008 at Maier Festival Park on Milwaukee Wisconsin’s lakefront.
