RezX Magazine Documentary to be screened at
Dreamspeakers Film Festival in Edmonton with
RezX VIP Party to follow;
Jennifer Podemski tapped to host with live Aboriginal performances!
Edmonton, AB – To celebrate the screening of
RezX Magazine's new documentary at the
International Dreamspeakers Film Festival (June 2-7),
RezX is planning another huge event! On Friday June 6th,
RezX will host their 4th Annual RezX VIP - Very Indigenous Party at the
Starlite Room in Edmonton, AB. And this time, RezX is planning a star-studded event inviting many Aboriginal celebrities including actor/producer
Jennifer Podemski (The Rez, Moccasin Flats, National Aboriginal Achievement Awards) and actor Travis Dugas who will serve as the hosts. But more importantly, it will be an evening of the most diverse and talented Aboriginal performers from across Canada from rock to blues to hip hop!
Some of the artists set to perform include; hard rock act,
Road Engine Dreams (Vancouver, BC) alternative act Nite Switch (Saskatoon, SK), acoustic singer
Tinsel Korey (Vancouver, BC) blues singer
Stephanie Harpe, blues/folk artist, Will Belcourt, and some of the finest hip hop performers such as,
Plex,
C-Prian,
Anasaz,
Advo,
Julez and Feenix. So even though there are 11 different bands, club goers will still get the chance to dance since
RezX is planning to spread out the performances. The evening will feature 15-minute live sets and 30-minute DJ sets courtesy of Edmonton's own
DJ CREEASIAN, who will be spinning the Top 40 hits to keep the party going until 3 in the morning! Once again,
RezX is asking everyone to dress to impress!
Doors will open at 7pm with performances beginning at 8pm and going until 3am with DJ sets in between and throughout the rest of the evening! So please get their EARLY to get good seats, and if you came to the last
RezX event please bring your
Starlite Room membership card so you don't have to pay the extra fees. The 4th Annual

ABOUT THE VIP AREARezX will have a separate area blocked off "only" for VIP customers. The VIP area will be in the
Temple, which is the back room of the
Starlite Room and can fit between 150-200 people comfortably. Such perks for the VIP room include pool tables, your own bar, lots of seating, relaxed environment and the opportunity to hang out and network with musicians, celebrities and people in the film industry. Our VIP tickets always sell out fast, so get them early! They are $25 each and can "only" be purchased by reserving them through phone or e-mail by contacting
