The Columns section of the site is NOT limited to the thoughts and ideas of those involved directly in this website's creation or updating. This is a forum to express your thoughts and ideas in some type of understandable form of writing.

There are no 'guidelines' to follow - if you want to write about something and see it displayed here, email Junior Simpson and get on the grind.

Welcome

Welcome
Posted Up: ??Unknown?? Jr Simpson

This was written so long ago, I didn't even put a date on it when it first appeared. Maybe it isn't something many look @, but it is here to explain how this 'columns' part of the site is going to work.

These columns will, of course, feature me - Jr. Simpson. But, these columns will most certainly not be limited to me. These Columns are open to everyone with something to say about native hip hop (or native issues), and can say it in a fairly logical way. This won't be homework forced upon you. No, this is something you will want to do, on your own. My only stipulation is that you have a valid email address, so that if anyone has a reaction to your article and want to share it with you, they have a way of doing so. Also, it's so that you email me your piece and I put it up. I won't edit it, content-wise, but only ask you use good judgment on grammar and mistakes that may be made. Please only send .txt versions or .wpd versions of your stuff if you send them in email attachments. I guess that makes 2 stipulations?

These columns are open to everyone. You will not be required to submit your real name. An alias will do just fine. Why? Because this is a place that's available to express opinions, and thoughts without having to worry who's going to come and post something derogatory later on, or use your name to cause trouble as on message boards. This is a place to read what some people think and want others to know, or think about what they've submitted and see how it might affect you, or pertain to you. By doing that, it will appear as if some controversy might occur from this. Something like that should be expected though, when you take it upon yourself to use your voice to others.
